Seems like JH is back with us in 2005. I just want to urge everyone (myself included), to be careful with our words, we dont want to lose him again.

There's nothing wrong with healthy debate. Just treat others as you would wish to be yourself.

End of the day we all share a love (perhaps obsession) for those fabulous instruments.

It's great that John is back posting on this forum, providing answers and clearing up misconceptions. When he left I think it was because he objected to people telling how to run his business. After reading some of the posts that precipitated his departure, I didn't blame him at all.
Let's keep in mind that this forum is all about sharing information about Rickenbacker. As long as it remains civil, (whether talking to John Hall or any other member), it will remain a place that we all enjoy frequenting.

PERHAPS an obsession? Hey, Jim, PERHAPS you should get out your dictionary. Or just ask your significant other...
“I say in speeches that a plausible mission of artists is to make people appreciate being alive at least a little bit. I am then asked if I know of any artists who pulled that off. I reply, 'The Beatles did.”

mutual respect even through disagreement is imperative. This is what differentiates this place from others. Let's keep it that way...

Since it's a new year, we are all reminded that we should forgive and forget any "bad dealings" of the previous year. Don't forget, 2006 is a long way off.

*talking in my sarcastic voice* Must be a tough life.Image I mean, everday you have to go to that shop and deal with everything Rickenbacker. Who would ever want to own a company with all that history? John,Paul and George who? Squire? Sheeez, it's gotta be misrible.Image Count your blessings Mr.Hall; GOD's done shed his Grace on thee!

Seriously though, you probubly do get sick of it all sometimes.
