A thankyou to Rickenbacker and John Hall

Post by roadrunners »

There is no other company in the world whos owner personally answers questions or gives comments to topics of discussion on any internet forum....Except for Rickenbacker, and John Hall.
Thanks for the great instruments and outstanding technical support...keep up the great work Image oh and issue those 325c64's already! Image

P.S...The owner of fender would never respond to questions on an internet forum. Probably because he dosent know the answers...jk

I'd second that, thank you John Hall, and all the Rickenbacker folks.

I know -- I was happily stunned to sign onto this forum about a month or so ago, and see that Mr. Hall also visists here, reads the notes ... and RESPONDS. But, then again, I'm learning there's a lot to like about the folks at Rickenbacker, in addition to its fine instruments. Thanks, danke, merci, mil gracias Mr. Hall.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.... to John Hall and to RIC for the input you've given on the boards, and for excellent products and service, and for the new color of the year, BLUEBURST!! Image Image Image Image Image

Kudos to RIC and all involved. I think of the first time I saw a Ric and the long wait to ever have one. I don't think I have ever smiled as big or as for long when I got my first one. And the Blueburst appears to be another fine Color of the Year, and another fine Ric.

My fortune teller tells me that she sees a left-handed Blueburst 660 in my future; thank you John Hall for all of your wonderful (and addicting) products.

I want to thank John Hall and Rickenbacker for my 2004 Fireglo 4003. Its the best bass guitar I've ever played in my life, and I've been playing for 25 years and have played all makes including Gibson, Fender, Ibanez, and Carvin. The sound is EXACTLY what I've always felt a bass should sound like. Of course three of my influences were Paul McCartney (of course), Chris Squier, and Paul Goddard.
I'd rather die while I'm livin' that live while I'm dead!

Having had questions about Rickenbacker instruments personally answered by F.C. Hall back in the day (both on the phone and via signed letter), I guess it can be said that this is a fine tradition that has been handed down (and hopefully will be handed down) from one generation to the next!
My first bass was a Rickenbacker...
My best bass is a Rickenbacker...
My last bass may very well be a Rickenbacker

Again we see "Rickenbacker" and "tradition" used in the same post!
