If it makes you feel any better, mine hasn't shown up in the mail, yet.

I just scored one. I was sitting on the fence last week when they had 3, and they all sold within days. So I asked if they had anymore in stock and they said they had a few more that just came in. So if you are thinking about getting one - it doesn't hurt to ask !
This is my return to Rickenbacker after a multi year drought. My last 2 were a 4003 Mapleglow and a 4004LK. I think the LK would be worth a few dollars by now , but it had all this weird carving on it. Anyway - I convinced the wife that it was a smart "investment" and I could get it with a no interest deal. Can't believe she said yes. She's a keeper!

Were you able to get Jeffrey to sign the Certificate of Authentication? I've heard he charges extra for that!davezzzz wrote:I just scored one. Production number on this one was TEN. That's TEN - total. No more. Congrats to the other 9 that snagged one. I can't wait. You can get a good look at the silver flake and mirror pickguard in the attached pic.

How long have they been doing the body contour for the jack plate blend like that? Never noticed it before.

I think it is just reflections on the paint that make it look different. The JPS is an S model (actually an SW) that doesn't have binding.Badanovski wrote:How long have they been doing the body contour for the jack plate blend like that? Never noticed it before.

One left in demo condition : https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/4003JPSd
I received mine last week and the metal flake comes across much better in person. It's multi color flake - almost like a subtle prismatic paint job. Very nicely done.

Welcome Paul. It should sound just like a 4003W, right? Are there some different electronics I missed?
