I don't know Chris - you may need to sell a 4005 or two for those tics!

Saw him on every tour including a taping of VH1's Up Close - stood about ten feet directly in front of him at that show. There were approximately 400 people in attendance. Talking in between songs and all. Will never forget that night - it was a really big show! Taped at the Ed Sullivan's theater.

Wow Andy, I'm envious! That was a great show! I've got the unedited raw footage from that show on video. No comparison to actually being there though.

Chris, is that for real? I have been waiting for the tour dates. I'm from Harrisburg, Pa. I will go to Baltimore, Washington, Philly, or Pittsburgh, to see him. Even the Garden would be nice. Catch the train in Harrisburg, get off at Penn Station right below Madison Square Garden, sweet Image I guess a ticket broker would be the way to go? GO EAGLES!

Sorry Eagles fans. McCartney will be watching the Pats win their 3rd Super Bowl in 4 years. Don't get me wrong. I'm not a Patriot fan. My 49ers were 2-14.

My wife and I catch Paul wherever he is closest. Probably no Rickenbacker on this tour either.

Andy's 15 minutes!! Image

Oh, my wife is VERY understanding....Hey, when she doesn't even sniff at me paying 300$ for Terps vs. Liberty B-ball tickets, $150 each for MACCA? No problem... Image

Billboard.com reports that Paul McCartney is planning a massive North American tour for this fall. Sir Paul is expected to announce the tour sometime in the next two weeks, leading up to his halftime performance at Super Bowl XXXIX.

Paul McCartney Playing 38 Date North American Tour
Thursday, January 27, 2005
Sir Paul McCartney will take advantage of media focus surrounding his halftime performance at Super Bowl XXXIX on Feb. 6 to announce his upcoming tour of North America, sources tell Billboard.com. The Beatles legend will play 38 North American cities beginning Sept. 16 in Miami and running until the end of November.

Tickets are expected to go on sale the last week in February. McCartney last visited North American in 2002 as part of a world tour that grossed more than $126 million and drew nearly one million fans.

McCartney is working on a new album for Capitol but no timetable has been set for its release. As previously reported, the artist has collaborated with producer Nigel Godrich (Beck, Radiohead) and multi-instrumentalist Jason Falkner on the set, which will be his first studio album since 2001's "Driving Rain."

The touring landscape will be relatively crowded with superstars this fall, as U2 will be on the second U.S. leg of its Vertigo tour, and the Rolling Stones also are believed to have an outing in the works.
