Rickenbacker 100year Anniversary Model

Post by GGomez »

Hi All

Just thought I’d throw the question out there. As Rickenbacker fans what models would you like to see Rickenbacker make for there 100year celebration.

Thanks

Oooh....maybe a limited run of 100 units 4005LS?! :D

With LED / app-programmable light sequencing, etc....?

Maybe 100 360LS, too...?

Would be nice.....

1. 4004FL
2. 4004FLLS
3. 4004CF(carbon fiber)

Every bass they make besides the 4004 is from 70 year old model technology/looks (nothing wrong with that). But would be nice to bring back the 4004 to modernize a bit and give us a more modern option.

They should really just bring back the 4004 the hiatus is gone on for long enough.

A purple burst finish would be amazing I remover swing pictures of an blue burst that faded into purple that would be a dream.

The long anticipated V68 would be nice. As well as a return of the 4004.

(...only slightly in jest  )
In light of his recent passing, as well as the historical tie-in...
A "David Lindley" signature model "Frying Pan" reissue might be in order.

Wouldn't one of the "Panda" models be more appropriate?

True that that'd probably be more apropos to the Lindley nod; but the 100th Anniversary commemoration probably ties in better with the 'ol Pan model.

I say combine the two. A checker bound, full width inlayed 4004.😉

How would RIC do the CB on the superbly contoured 4004 body? Maybe along the edge of the body around the perimeter.
