I'm not sure how much later, however, my April '98 4001V63 had a hot toaster in it.

When did the spacing move from whatever it was on the neck pu to the new position. I can't remember that! Was it 1974 or 1975? Later?
It moved a tiny bit closer to bridge pu, but I can't remember when that change happened..

Now, where did I put that bottle of Prevagen?

The "book" says: "In 1975, the neck pickup was relocatated a half inch farther from the fingerboard to take advantage of a harmonic node there." 8)

My '74 4001 has it closer to the neck... '75 would make sense.
