Jake, have you actually tried one? These youtube vids can be so misleading, especially on something a subtle and subjective as a compressor.

Nope. Happy with my Janglebox.

I guess you're right, I'm judging too soon without even trying one. What's one of the worst YouTube pedal demos you've seen?

I finally saw one of these yesterday with my own two eyes, tried it, and took it home.

I like it better than a JB. There, I said it.

I just picked up a Whirlwind Gold Box (Distortion +) and it works really well with a Rick 330. Designed by the same guy who designed the MXR version.
