I'm glad the site is up again, and I'd guess it's still under development. :D

Now I see those links are in the sections for each model's description. Nice to find it!

It is good to see the site back, and looking good. However, I was surprised that the 620/12 has been dropped from production. Had that happened earlier, and I'd just missed the memo?

On a positive note, the pics on the site for the 4005V show they're using the checkerboard binding on the back. Yummo!

Cheers,
Andrew

I wouldn't take solely its exclusion from the menu as an indication of that. I found the page: https://www.rickenbacker.com/guitars/model-620-12/

Did you hear something about it being discontinued elsewhere?

The 620/12 is under the Legacy page - https://www.rickenbacker.com/series/legacy/

"These models are no longer part of our current catalog, though remain a part of Rickenbacker’s enduring legacy!"

It's a sort of 'Salon des Refusés' for past RIC models.

Apart from that, I'd not heard anything, and it was a bit of a double-take moment.

Cheers,
Andrew

Yeah, it looks like the company forum has been discontinued on the new website.

It never was very active, so no surprises there.

I think it was pretty active, up until John Hall departed. I really looked forward to visiting that forum daily. I learned a lot there. So, I'm hoping that the forum will reappear there, at least for archival access -- man, there is a lot (a lot!) of good information buried in there. One of the best things I learned was the differences between the two types of Sorkin Bowtie bridges -- I can still recall iiipope's explanation and his typographical depiction of the two different bridges. And there was a lot of discussion about disconnecting the middle pickup on 325 models. There was a guy there who (finally?) disconnected the middle pickup on his 325v59, liked the sound, and demonstrated the "new" sound by providing a link to his rendition to the song, "Smokestack Lightening,' singing and fingerpicking; I'm still blown away.

Unfortunately, there's not a lot of interplay here nowadays, either. Many questions by sincere OP's go unanswered....
