Wow, thanks for posting that link, Mike. Great stuff!!! Interesting is the comparison of the CS signature model feel being so different.
I saw that Bands Reunited Alan, and he is a really good player, and a nice guy. I always thought the bass playing to Too Shy was really cool.
Also, I'm interested to know how many current bassist under the age of 25 would list McCartney as an influence. I'm only 35 but am lucky to have been brought up on Beatles music.

I agree that NB is a great player - saw him on the JPJ Zooma tour and was *very* impressed. I'm also pleased that he was able to pull off an interesting interview with Squire - a refreshing change from the usual rote Q&A that I've seen for the last bunch of years. Gotta wonder about some of those typos though (Offerd, Rabins, etc.)

Nick Beggs I agree is a 1st class musician and a very sought after session player. He plays a Chapman stick a fair bit as well as his usual 5 string. He must be good, John Paul Jones uses NB in his touring band. He is also putting Kajagoogoo back together after the Bands Reunited interest. Unfort Limahl has not agreed to rejoin. Nick is in serious talks with a Guy (who lives in my home city) called Dan Bryan to replace Limahl. He is 6'5" and very camp. Never heard him sing but NB would not have if he couldnt do the business.

I think we all read the interview with CS. It was very interesting especially the fact that he got the 3rd Ric....after Ent and Qaife...and then became huge himself, after just being the shop lad of the dealer ! Incredible.
I reckon we have all latched onto NB because he is under rated and we all recognise that, and what a great musician he is. I went out to see 3 Men and Black tonight, Great acoustic show featuring Dave Wakeling from The Beat, Roddy Radiation from The Specials and Pauline Black from The Selector. It was a 2 Tone special. Great !
