Also my 2020 has a different neck than the 2030 ... the 2020 neck is like the neck of a 4004 in feel and profile and it it has a maple fretboard finished in a satin oil type finish ... and it is different that the 4004 because it is a bolt on ... it has as much sustain as a 4000 series because of the massive maple body ...

I've already gigged with the 2020 twice ... and I will be using it more ...

Jeff how many members have 2020 or 2060 basses? I have only seen your red 2020 posted and a turquoise 2060!

Love the modern Ric combi bridge.

Best bridge in the world.

I don't know how many ... but man I love that natural 2060 ... it would look cool with black binding and black hardware ...

Does anybody else gig with the 2000 series basses like I do?

I found those photos on a Japanese guitar shop website summer last year for sale, but the company wouldnt export to the UK. As you can imagine I wasnt too happy and it sold not long after! That was the first time I had seen a 2060 and fell in love with it straight away! Being that mapleglo and fireglo are my favourite colours for Ricks, I would love a 2020 or 2060 in either or both, to join my 4004 when I eventually get it, Ive found a 4004 in fg in holland and a 2020 in metallic turquoies in the same shop! Jast cant quite afford them both at the moment, and not so keen on the turquoise colour!

Me too Henny, I think its a work of art, and it looks great as well!

Jeff have you seen many or any 2020 and 2060's on your travels?

What about you Henny seen any here on the UK?

Jeff maybe one of these days I'll ask you to make a 5 stringer for me out or a 3001 or 2000 series bass, as I have smallish hands and most 5 stringer necks are too wide for me!

At Dirk Witte in the Netherlands, they have a Glenn Frey bass and a 2020 TURQ for sale.

Thanks Warren. It looks as though the 2060 and 2020 don't have the pre-ampy thingy that comes in the 2030.

I've never seen a 2020 or a 2060 bass in a music store ... I saw one 2020 on ebay and I bought it ... the 2020 and 2060 have the same exact wiring as a 4004 ... but the pickups with the ric logo are even hotter than the 4004 hb1 pickups ...
