Pics of this one in a few days.
Sounds great, Paul... can't wait to see this one! :D

Just to update a shipment in progress, my 730L - 12 "Tumon Bay" arrived today in the western Pacific in one piece and I must admit it is an amazing example of Rickenbacker workmanship. The photos Paul showed you looked great but when you actually get one of these acoustics in your hands and give it a close look, it is a cross between a musical instrument and art. The subtle things he does in a spray booth really make each one of these unique and spell binding. If I could play it 10% as nicely as it looks, I'd be a pro. Anyway, I'll be waiting for a clear day to take it down to Tumon Bay to use the ocean there as a backdrop for more photos. It's hard to believe one guy does this by himself. Nice work Paul!!

How come nobody's asking Tim for wallpaper photos?

Tim, glad you like it and thanks for your support!

That TRC isn't your standard acoustic style, Paul. Is there a story on that?

You mean the colors, Jerry?

I switch back and forth between gold/black and gold/platinum, depending upon what looks best on any one acoustic. As far as shape goes, it's a standard RIC TRC shape, narrowed to fit a 12-string headstock, as all 12 string TRCs are. Beveled, polished, etc.

I throw in a free one, when you buy an acoustic. I even attach it to the headstock for you!

Tell you what--I'll bung in a big old piece of brown steel tubing running up the middle of the body (for rigidity), and you can have the best of both worlds!

I'm waiting for Paul to produce a Rickenbacker Acoustic calendar. I think he's finished at least 12, so maybe we'll see one in 2012.
'96 1997 LH MG
'98 360 LH MG
'00 360/12 Carl Wilson LH FG

If there's some work that could be delegated to others here, I'm sure a lot of us here would be happy to help make such a calendar happen. :)

THAT would be an amazing Rick-porn fest. Oh, the colors!
