I sure do wish I could be there.... I'm trying to find some creative excuses to go and visit the in-laws in a couple of weeks.... they are about 25 minutes away from the venue!

That's a good enough reason for me, but it's about a 600-mile drive one way from here.... Image

Is there an actual head-count on this thing yet?

It's fluctuating, Kenny. Some originally were going to come, but due to commitments, can't now. And vice versa. I expect we'll get maybe 20 to 30 folks over the three days, with somewhere between 50 and 100 instruments. This is based on the Confluences of the past. I know that between Brian Crisman, Ted Staberow, Jeff Thomas, and myself, we'll have at least 40 basses. Hope you can come, too!

So does a 4080 count as one or two heads...

I keep looking up at the April calendar picture of your double-neck basses, Dave, and I keep wishing I could be there to see 'em!

BTW, what songs do you guys play on these, and do you use both necks in one song? Just curious!

Melissa, unfortunately I have 2 jobs that weekend, and I too will not be there. The one in VA was such a great time, I am bummed.

FYI, you can only play one neck at a time. The output jacks are standard ROS. Any RUSH or old Genesis song will sound good when played on a 4080.

Mel, please come to Milwaukee! I can promise you at least one 4080 to ogle (Ted's MG). C'mon, we need some feminine pulchritude among all the Ricks!

I want to, in the worst way, Paul....

I keep telling my husband that we need to go and visit his parents next weekend.... I've got a bad case of spring fever right now and want to go on a road trip anyway.

"pulchritude"?!?!?!?!

....I guess I should have gone to college or maybe at least paid attention in high school.

Mel, I guarantee you the glaciers have melted. We were 84 in MKE today. Next week should be a bit cooler, but no freeze in sight.

Brian, we writers have to come up with nifty words all the time. That one just doesn't look right. It's an ugly word that means beauty. Strange.

Hi - is there any sort of registration for this weekend. I am planning on coming in late Friday and spending all day Saturday amongst the Ric's and their keepers. Can't wait. Also, should I bring along some of my more interesting Ric's? I have never attend an event like this so I'm not really sure how everything works.

Thanks, m

Welcome to the forum, Michael.

No registration. Show up with your Ricks and have fun. Bring all of your Ricks if you can. If not, bring the most interesting ones. CU there!
