Most likely no.
I was possibly interested in doing the Museum of Making Music event since that place is about 10 minutes from my house, but I get the feeling the only way to get into it is to show up on the bus. I can't personally justify driving (up to Santa Ana and back) and riding (Santa Ana to Carlsbad and back) 200 miles for that.
I'd like to be wrong about that, though.

I don't know why they woudn't let you into the museum if you provided your own transportation. I saw nothing that say taking the bus is mandatory for admission.

"Some clarification, Ronn? "
Here's our lineup:
John: Rythym guitar, harmonica, keys
Basil: Lead guitar, keys, sound effects
Tommo: Keys
Terry: Drums
Brian: Percussion, additional guitar
Me: Bass, electric sitar, alarm clock, floor tom
all sing, and we often have a string combo and occasionally a full orchestra.

If I move to Austin, can I be Mal Evans for you guys?

Ha ha, sure! I'm sure Brian would appreciate it, in addition to some incidental percussion and extra guitar(for instance, when we play "Abbey Road", with the three, rotating guitar solos at the end, he plays the "Paul" solos)he tunes all the guitars/basses, and brings them on stage when we need to swap(12-string for 6-string, for example), it really keeps the show moving, with little "down-time" between songs.

yea... they're the Italian group... not a recreation band but a tribute nonetheless. You can see the English-not-as-a-first-language come through, but I think they do a pretty decent job.

Hey! That's a pretty good palm-muted Les Paul/Marshall tone out of that Gent/AC50 setup. George is amazing!
