Hmmm ... I'm not a "pedal" player (e e e e e e e e e e e ad infinitum), so I always keep a close look at the neck to see where I'm going next. You're a harsh taskmaster Jerry!

In those days John there wasn't much choice in acoustic basses. It was either that or a $2000 Martin. Thankfully the pointy headstock could be used to silence hecklers.
