Hi guys
I've just joined up after 2 years of lurking!
I must admit,i was a bit surprised when i tried to look at the forum a few days ago and couldn't get excess.
Well,I'm from Belfast N.Ireland
Currently i have 2 Ricks, 1989 360/12V64,bought new , and a 1999 360V64 that i bought just before Christmas last year.
I have to confess that i'm a big Gretsch guitar nut
But i have a really soft spot for Ricks.
I have 3 Gretsches, with one on the way, so another Rick is over due!
Would like to get a 1997 and a 381V69.
But,They'll have to come one at a time!
Anyway,just thought i'd say hello!

I am glad you registered John. Welcome! It will be good to have another Rickenbacker enthusiast from Ireland. Gretsches and Rickenbackers go together nicely and as you well know there are a number of Gretsch owners here as well.

I don't know much about computers, so i may make a few mistakes along the way.
This is the first pc i've had,2 years next month,
and i still don't know what i'm doing!
Can pics be uploaded from my hard drive?
I post on The Gretsch Pages a lot, but its a little different here.

John: Just use the upload attachment button below with window and follow the instructions. Just be sure to have the photo within 500X500 pixels and no bigger than 36k. A photo compression program is helpful in this regard, however, there are free services to do this available online too.

Hi John...... nice to have another fan from Ireland - a big welcome from me!
I was there in '03 to visit my mother's birthplace - Belmont. Had a great time in Belfast, Holywood (especially the Dirty Duck) and environs - it's a great place!

Here's a link to my Ricks
I just love 360V64's.
I was thinking of getting one in every colour!
Only one problem though, not enough cash!
