Every so often I have the opprtunity to take the '66 Jazz out for a spin. It sounds wonderful and is a joy to play. I'm lucky enough to have a bass that exemplifies all the "vintage" hype. I've got a number of modern Jazz variants and they're all excellent in their own right, but none of them sound like this....

I've got a 12-string I might be tempted to part with...I'm sure you all know it well. Ian is WAY cooler than me, he has a B12S!! (drool...)
