Well, Tammy..... he was there, so one can only assume that he was doing a job of some sort. I did see him signal to the band at one stage that they had ten minutes to go so I guess he earned his pay.
No blue tongues yet and there probably won't be - I brought white Sambuca this time!
Next stop on the agenda is a private party gig tonight and the Tan Hill pub tomorrow. Graham and I are meeting Sarah for dinner on Monday night, which will be lovely.
We're off to Teignmouth in Devon next weekend to catch up with Tony Carey and witness his last official gig for a while.
Had a nice surprise today.... Rob Jones popped into the pub in Barnard Castle while we were having lunch and a few convivials:
Graham actually had to buy a round, too, although he wasn't exactly overjoyed about it:
...... and Pete lined me up with a date for tonight's party:
More soon...............

Did Aitch mention he was a surprise guest on Radio Teesdale?

- Aitch looks on as Gary twiddles his knobs

- Gary grills Aitch about Jackarooing up the bush!!!!

Howard, I think you will find that your date for tonight is actually baaa'd from the pub!
It was great to see H and G, oh, and Peter.
See you at the Tan Hill pub tomorrow for more merryment.
For the uninitiated, the Tan Hill pub is the highest pub in England, and possibly one of the most remote too.
One shares one's drink in the bar with wild animals, and staff that are possibly from outer space, that's if they can be bothered to serve you.
And yes, Graham did actually buy a round of drinks today, but it took him about 10 minutes and 3 trips to the bar to actually take the plunge. Honestly! Notice the old fashioned and out of date £5 note that came out of his wallet with all the moths.

I wish I had known about the radio Teesdale appearance. I would have sent in an email. Is it on the website somewhere? I would love to hear it. Looks like a grand time is being had.. glad someone thought to get a picture of Graham buying a round. Did he teach you the proper way to drink it. He is an official master of the proper way to drink you know ask Jdog!

He looks like the bartender told him there was no more beer.

Another great night......... apart from the bloody midges!!
Oh well..... Scotty did warn us.
For some reason nobody wants to let me within 20 feet of a guitar, so I'm having shocking withdrawal. Do you think they're trying to tell me something??
Oh..... here you go, Richard:
