Scotty, thanks for the compliments. Yes, those are mine. The 375 was acquired from forumite Dave Kim. The fretboard is dark, but not ebony.

The 330 is a rarity. Bound fretboard, very deep FG, slim neck, early blend knob. Came by that one about 15 years ago. JWilli wants it. FG envy, that.

Though it is a Fireglo, that 330 has such a deep red tint to it. Incredible, Ron. Course I've spent some time eyeballing any Rick on the register out of Ohio.

Is there any marks or features on the guitar that you remember Brian.Id love to know if that guitar was actually maybe your old one? Maybe Ron could give you a couple of close up shots of the guitar?

Scotty my guitar was flawless even years later when in a moment of lunacy I sold it. I would know my guitar the second I picked it up. It was my main guitar all through my early career as a professional musician.

Edit: I looked at Ron's pics in the register and that is not my old guitar. Ron's has Van Ghent tuners on it my old 375 OS had Klusons.

Here's one that's shaded kind of like your 330VP -- a 2007 360 that I just noticed on ebay. Hardly any fade in the center:

Eight pages of this?! Come on fellow forumites! The solution is very simple; either take a red Sharpie and color in the center of your FG finish, or have it refinished in a solid color...like RED, or Jetglo!

I'm kidding, of course. There are some lovely examples in this thread. Obviously I'm going to think the best looking Fireglo finishes are those on the double bound models, and the best of those are the double bound models with gold guards and oven knobs.

That's a great addition to the list Steve. One of the reasons I like FireGlo is that there is so much variation. We can choose a shade that suits our particular taste.
