Greg, just because I like you, I tried to put something together for you using 3rd party software. I cannont seperate tracks with this program, but I can SOMETIMES remove 90% vocals.

My equally as big as me Beatles fan Alex and I have been listening to these uploads, we feel like we're finally hearing these songs for the first time.

Re: Paul and string noise.

Any bass sound you isolate is going to have string noise. I learned this when Tom Petty's obscure Damn the Torpedoes track "You Tell Me" was broken down to solo Duck Dunn of Booker T and the MGs on bass. Duck plays with flats and his fingers, but there was a LOT of string noise. The tricks of mixing can make a bass have no string noise.

this is great fun! i just looked though all 8 pages of this post, and i apologise if i missed it,but could you post the "dig a pony" bass track,please? i have been playing it a while,and am curious to see if i am close.....
