Speaking of which, I don't know which of my instruments to bring. I can only manage a few. Any requests?

Generally, it's about $20 each to cover costs, IIRC, but, at least at So Cal events, drummers play free, and are plied with top-shelf booze and free snacks. . . .skelt101 wrote:Hi folks,
I've yet to attend one of the BARCs, but would really like to this year!Who would I contact and what would the "entrance fee" be? On a potential plus side, I do play drums. Have the early-session duties been fulfilled yet? Perhaps I could sit-in... Will a kit be on-site? I don't know if I could bring mine, as I planned on taking my RICs and Vox-type amp as well, and space is limited in my car. Anyways, let me know- this could be fun!

Thanks for the welcoming post! Sounds like a good time will be had by all! I'll be sure to bring my Rics, amp and stand. Is there a certain style and/or setlist that will be played?8mileshigher wrote:Mike, it would be great to have you be our lead-off drummer !![]()
We just share the cost of renting the facility .... estimated to be $20 or less per person, depending upon the number of attendees.
We have a drum kit provided with the studio... no need to bring a drum kit. But maybe bring your favorite cymbals as I don't remember what they provide.
Bring your Rics and amp.... and sufficient guitar stands![]()
Looking forward to having you join the fun !
By the way, where do you hail from ?
Sounds like a good deal for the drummers! Too bad I don't make it down there as often as I would like. However, I do have family in the area, so maybe I can swing it next time!paologregorio wrote:Generally, it's about $20 each to cover costs, IIRC, but, at least at So Cal events, drummers play free, and are plied with top-shelf booze and free snacks. . . .skelt101 wrote:Hi folks,

Thanks, Rich.
Oops, sorry for misspelling "motorcycling"
Michael -- in addition to Rics, amp and guitar stands, bring your favorite cymbals, too.skelt101 wrote:
