I can't tell ya'll how much i enjoyed being smack-dab in the middle of all those swirling chimey Rick guitars, (5 at several points!), even though i was just hoping for the best on playing the bass parts on those Byrds and Beatles tunes.
And i think the 500k pot switch really helped my 4004 basses,so I'm sure it would do the same for HB -equipped guitars, too.
Thanks, Woody !

I just want to thank Doug and the cat herders and everyone who traveled so far to be there. There was a real feeling of family reunion for me after knowing everyone for so long now and doing four of these events in the last six years.
There were also a lot of vintage ricks to found on our host's premises, but as Paul put it, "Ours were better".

Ed and i took a peek at their vintage room, definitely some interesting things in there. I still would love to find a vintage Precision bass that i liked, and could afford... ( yeah, right!)
We did have some of the coolest customised instruments anywhere,IMHO.

Like ! ! !
It's hard to contain those RAS pangs, after attending a Confluence like this, with so many stunning Rickenbackers from across the decades..... and the outstanding finishes seen on so many Rics !!!

It wouldn't be memorable without pictures! Looks like a good time was had by all. Based on what I've read in this thread, Doug should get an award for all he did to make sure that everyone had a good time. Way to go, Doug!

Thanks for the pix. I truly wish I could have been there. But the timing just wasn't right.

Sorry it took me so long to get these together.
My Jetglo guitar collection, amp, and revamped pedal board.
Gareth's massive carload of goodness
Gary's brace of fireglos
Woody's cool basses and Rich's trio of guitars (it was interesting to compare our 650s)

Kira's cool short scales. Some rare birds here.
This is not something you see very often
Nor is this 50's Model 1000 tulip
When Paul W. started loading in his stuff the drooling began in earnest. That long-body 320 (310?) has the perfect fireglo finish of my dreams!

And what can you say about this? Hand-done German carve front and back Jazzbo.
I think even Woody wanted to take one home...
12-string acoustic with AAAA flame maple back!

Two of my friends and their first BARC. Peter (L) did a great job drumming for us and Don (yes he owns a Rick--a nice 67 360-12) who is a hardcore Beatles historian and a great player (check out the T-shirt).
Don has some interesting guitar faces. Here he's checking out my '64 375
The jam was slow to start, but got up to speed pretty quickly. Rich, Peter, and Woody held it all together.
Gary joins in with his cool brown Vibroverb.

More jamming...
One of the older Beatles tunes that Don lead (I want to hold you hand?)
Kira's little 12 sounded great through the AC30
