Don't stop at Ma Hale's--they're closed.

Avoid the corner of Van Ness and Pacific after dark.

Oops, that's in SF, not Nashville.

Haven't I seen that picture on a bulletin board at the Post Office??? Image

Also - there are only four strings on your guitars - what happened?

Michael...look closely.....notice all three of us only have four fingers on each hand(not including the thumb, of course), so WHY would we need 6 strings?.... Image

I'm in for some t-shirts. Please offer some bigger sizes. I am 6' and 250 lbs., so XL is not even close for me. Please consider some XXLs or XXXLs!

Coffee mugs might be an interesting little item. What did you have in mind, Paul? A coffee mug I can use since coffee is one of the last things I can still ingest that has a buzz.

Well, Stan,

First the reason for Cafe Press being our supplier:

I looked online for quite awhile and nobody I could find can do what Cafe Press can, which is to manufacture to order, without us having to place orders first for a buncha different sizes of shirts and then collect money and then probably get stuck when the numbers don't add up and then have to get another order together, etc., etc., ad infinitum...

Cafe Press does all the credit card processing, handles the shipping and packing from their warehouse, and basically it makes it an on-demand, easy to manage thing for everyone concerned. You want a t-shirt at midnight on a Thursday? Go online and Robert's your mother's brother.

I had an idea for black t-shirts. With the guitars on them, it would look pretty fine...but Cafe Press has all kinds of pastels and white and gray, but no black. I spoke to them and they have indefinite plans to sometime carry black. I believe that it's a problem with silkscreening onto dark colors: in order to get any sorts of colors to look acceptable, a good solid white ground would have to be silkscreened first, and I don't think they want the headaches of doing this. So we're going to have white t-shirts, although they will be good quality cotton.

I mentioned this to both Peter and John Hall via e-mail; no response from John, but Peter feels that it's an acceptable trade-off rather than going through the headache of processing orders, let Cafe Press do it and settle for white shirts.

That's what I'm basing my art on--a multi-color screen job on white shirts.

So now we come to your coffee cup question:

Cafe Press has two mug styles available, a jumbo and a regular. They're the typical white mug with straight sides, so my thought was to do a separate piece of art showing both a bass and a 12-string, with the RIC and Rick Forum logos, all in color again.

Anyway, no skin off anybody's back as long as Peter and John approve the ideas and designs, which nobody has seen yet, as I'm still assembling suitable artwork and getting the layouts done.

BTW, Stan, everytime I see your screen name in a post, I wonder: what the heck does "Buzfluhart" mean? Or should I know and I'm just dense or uninformed?
