Is your white one a plexi-glass 74' in excellent shape? I have a brand new black with silver lettering from my 05'Laredo MB, that I would love to trade...... email me @ ecmj5866@aol. I would love to discuss this!
Rick bass fanatic. I own and play several professionally. I have a passion for the S models.

Here are some pics from our recent House of Blues show. For headlining on a Saturday night everything went great. We thought since it was July 4th weekend that our crowd might be a little thin......but they did us proud. The only problem is after gigs like this the grungy average bar gig (our mainstay) seems even more skanky. It's all good and we'll take what we can get.....

I used the s8 for Anesthesia (Metallica bass solo for those who don't know) and it sounded phenominal....very thick and cutting. The only problem was heavier bends are a workout with the doubled strings.....but I made it though without bleeding Image.

Other than that the LK got most of the work unless I needed my BEAD MG.

You need more amps and cabs Brian! How can you compete with those two full Marshall stacks on the other side of the stage? Image

Brian,
What's that tri-pickup wooden thing you're toting !!!!

And ignore the the Acoustic 360 comments, go for Acoustic 408's .. maybe 4 of them, with matching 370 amps !!!

Whatever he gets, it has to be at least four of them.

I have a 1000 watt power amp with 500 watts going to the 2x10 and 500 to the 2-1x15's (cabinets are Mesa Diesel series). I can't imagine anything capturing the sound I want better.....I've tried just about everything else and this is my favorite setup yet. With the power I have no problem getting heard with the Marshall stacks. A restricting factor for me is what will fit in my car.....as you can see it is pretty full now.....
Image
....the only other option I am considering is getting a 3400 watt power amp to run 4 Acme Low B II's. Those cabinets sound amazing but are VERY power hungry (2x10 with a 5"-ish midrange and a dome tweeter).

Sorry for not bleeding Steve....I did my best to not let you guys down Image.

....and Jim, it's nothing special and it isn't FireGlo so...... Image!

Brian,
It's real nice to see you using the LK on stage, I know how much agony you went through waiting for it ...

Looking good, and no blood either !!!
