Those are just amazing Paul.

I tell you, if I ever win the lottery, the first thing I'm gonna do is place an order!

As an aside, Paul is correct. Sony has been doing some very nice things in the DSLR field that is turning the heads of many pros. His camera is an excellent choice.
I also like this Sony. (no I do not have Sony stock):

Early morning and warm evening light is great for shooting guitars. Late night is great for playing them!

That square finish is a customer petition? Very nice flamed wood in all guitars Paul.

The square heel, as well as the "fishtail"* headstock, are both variations that were seen on Rickenbacker acoustic guitars in the 1950s. I try to make each acoustic build unique. This one has the square heel and open-backed gold "butterbean" tuners for a vintage appearance and feel.
*also: "Dagwood", "batwing", "steer's horn"...etc.

Bad segue here, from "whale tail" to the lurvly Ms. Hoffs...
Just completed, shipped today...SH #125 (smack dab in the middle of the run!). Customer bought it quite a few years ago sans certificate; kind of a beater. Ed Roman claimed he could "restore" it to "better than factory" condition for a [LOW] price.
What the customer got was a SH that had been jitterbugged, masked, and rattlecanned in black enamel. There were squigglies, dust, and ******* (can I say that?) all over the front and back. So, it was fully disassembled, stripped (sandpaper only!), and completely redone. The original fretboard inserts were cracked, frets were bad and poking out of the neck, wiring was ******** (can I say that?), etc. It got the works.
It was finished in time for SCARF, but I I kept it, in order to tidy the humbucker wiring.
Up next: a passel of unusual basses, now being fettled...

Love everything about the SH Ltd. Ed. ......except the fat headstock. Meh. It never stopped me from buying one though! I've had two of them and currently own a SH look-a-like. One of the overrun models.

Cool! Ditto to whagt you said except for owning two of them; I'd like two of them, but I'll prolly add an Accent to mine when I get one.

I remember seeing the SH at SCARF. I took a pic of it for the girls I turned onto the Bangles, and they went nuts over it.

Paul, that Susanna Hoffs L.E. is spectacular. That Jetglo finish, the shiny chrome, the checkered binding and really every feature is superb !!

Jetglo Rocks, indeed !!

I really like doing JG finishes. Timeless elegance, and with a bit o' extra work they shine like nobody's biz.
