Hey Jim, you will win the prize for the furthest travelled! I'm not sure but I think that it is a Transonic stack, but then again I may be lying!!!

If you want a pint of beer you had better come further north 'cos all you'll get in London is a pint of p*** (joking) (but then again maybe not).

Some wonderfully smooth bitters in my part of the world. One of the things I really look forward to when returning home in the summer.

No way Phil...Shep and scream as we used to say...
Actually I like a good John Smith's and there's an obscure Sussex brewed one I had in Tunbridge Wells last year that was outstanding to this palate...

I had quite a few pints of John Smith's in a pub in York in 2002. Along with roast beef and Yorkshire pud, of course! Couldn't finish the meal (too much) but had no trouble with the beer!!

Lovely!

I cant believe you're praising up John Smiths...its lousy ! Tetley hand pulled...when its on song, and Mansfield Riding again when it is is in good condition.

'Rickenbacker'...what a name! After all these years, it still thrills me.

Exactly, Wints. To me, Tetleys is panther's p**s!! But hey, I'm an Aussie - what would I know about English beers?

OK then, what's the opinion on Boddingtons?
