It's an 82
My other bass is a '74 Jazz, w/ frets. It has the same modification plus a bit more 3rd pickup, brass nut.

I tune it CGDG so in string terms it's threaded BADG
(If anyone needs some estrings I have a whole box of them around here somewhere
