Nice work, Sheena... the bits and pieces are slowly coming together for you!

Reminds me of when I asked my boss for a desktop computer many years ago. He gave me a mouse mat.... two years later I got the computer to go with it!! Image

Hmm... you mean, first the strings, then the neck, then the pickups, etc, etc... then the guitar as a whole? Interesting... but i'd like the guitar in one piece, anyway. Image

How are you holding up, Sheena? I waited around 10 days, I think, for my last one & I know it was a little surreal. I still find it hard to grasp that I actually have something I wanted for so long.
Keep busy & the time will pass much easier! Image

I am busy, Kevin, thankyouverymuch. Image (working on a hell of a translation, huh)
Not so much a trouble for me as it is for Mousie. I've just told her. I had to (i kept it in secret and i wanted it to be a surprise) - she's ill in bed for about a couple of weeks, and today was the "crisis" day, and thankfully it worked. But anyway she says a brother (or a sister, or both at the same time) would be better...

Hope the little one gets better soon! That certainly puts things in perspective.
When she's up & around again it'll be time for celebration & the guitar's arrival will be very nice icing on the cake, so to speak.

Yep. It's summer and so darn hot - a dangerous time, you know. But we will celebrate, that's for sure!Image
Thank you.

Hi Sheena,

Sorry to hear Mousie is ill. Give her a hug and get well wish for me. Tell her I hope she gets up and is able to play with her friends in the very near future.

Although this pales in relative importance, let us know when your guitar arrives too.

Brian

Thank you all, we're much better today.
Brian: thanks a lot, most surely i did. The guitar's bound to be here July, 5th.
Aitch: i've just shown Mousie that picture, and she said, "rats don't do that"! (in fact, we had a few of them - i mean rats - in the past, and both her and me love them, but they don't live for too long unfortunately... whoops. I mean, our rats never did that - albeit, as far as i know, some do, - and hamsters are more likely to make long trips in the wheel Image)

Time is whizzing by Sheena,

You must be on pins and needles waiting for your guitar to arrive. I can't wait to hear how much you love it. Pics would be great too.

But still it begins
Needles and pins
Because of all my pride
The tears I gotta hide

Yeah. One more week to go. And i'll take some pics (if my mom allows me to use her new camera, that is). Image
