John Biscuti put his hand around it and said it was DEFINITELY the slimmer new neck. I trust his judgment.

No ones mentioned the case for these. Is it just the SKB type ? Or for the cash can we assume its the Vintage style, or maybe something completely different?

Did Alison's choice of hair color have any influence in the decision-making process regarding using Dark Cherry Metallic for the 75th Anniversary RICs?

That is proprietary information which will NEVER be revealed..

They're both pretty easy on the eyes though, wouldn't you agree? :-)

"the 75th dark Cherry looks a lot like jetglo from a distance ..."

That's a good thing IMHO. Like checkerboard binding that is indistinguishable from plain binding from 10 ft, this color is for the owner to enjoy, like a secret that only he (/she) knows.

I really love that color. It would also look great with a black guard and TRC.

I agree Ilan. The more subtle the better. A near perfect color IMHO.

Alison Wunderland (get it?) was one of our Rickenbacker hosts and was our chaperone on the bus to the House of Blues gig on the Sunset Strip. I think this was her first experience with a large group of enthusiasts and she dove right in. Great gal!

Whoa - we may be on to something here. Hair color and Dark Cherry Metallic Ric's. I recall seeing a picture from the tours of some other colors which may be offered up this year. I think there was one which matched Alison's eye color... is this the paradigm for 75th anniversary color selection?
