Ted, great work... binding looking good but man that wood is pretty! I just love what the grain is doing... Thanks so much for posting this exercise. And yes, I am a MG-aholic.

maybe you ought to make it look like the 4002 prototype, which had a normal 4001 like pickguard. I always found that one more appealing than the production version.

Here is an update. Yes, it has been a long time. I hope to make them more frequent.
Here is the body routed for pickups and the tailpiece.
I tried a test fit of my genuine 4002 guard and tailpiece just for fun.
I still have to apply the outer binding and finish the sanding. More to come....
