Hey Mark, you should not look a gift horse in the mouth! Dave only offered me $300 for my 68 4001, cuz it needed a new pickguard, bridge, and tuners. Plus, he said he liked you better
So since you are getting a whopping $100 more with his generous offer, and everyone knows that when you get up into that kind of rarefied atmosphere in pricing, you better jump on it while you can!! Otherwise, he will be calling me next.....
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you, and sit in with the band whenever you can, to keep your chops up!
Keep the pictures coming, guys! Still bumming here that I couldn't make it. It's for the better though, because the wife and our oldest came down with the flu over the weekend. That would have been a mess coming home yesterday!
There Is What You Can See. There Aren’t What You Don’t See. And That’s All There Is That You Get!
First post one this - GREAT time. I can't get over the turnout...Rickenbacker besides being the finest made instrument out there certainly attracts the bestest of fans. Lots of really good players to..
Great to see the old faces and meet a bunch of cool new folks as well.
Favorite axes? That's tough because there are so many. Mark Walkers bass looks much cooler in person than it shows in pics, ands that's saying a lot. Paul's Mink is amazing.
Special shout out to Dave Pascoe for letting me have Darren Trott's Azure 72. He feels Darren will never read this post or miss the bass...Seriously, I didn't want to give it back.
Big credits to all the people who traveled from so far away. You guys made it well worth while.
Hey Marc....you have to get up pretty early to get one past me!
I enjoyed seeing the photo of your 4003 DCM unveiling. Glad you liked the '72 4001 Azureglo, too. Now that MARF II is over, Mr Pascoe might allow me to bring her home at long last!
As an aside, I often think of you when I reach for "our" 4000CS. What a great bass.
Jeff, John and everyone....thanks for all of the photos and videos. Keep 'em coming please!
