This all sounds great. I think I'll have room to bring my Carvin PB100 combo amp and some extra guitar stands as well. The ol Ridgeline will be packed, but I think I can get it all in.

I am going to start a new thread called RIO!!! - INSTRUMENT COUNT, I want to get an idea of what to expect to fit the room. It seems most of the rooms (for reasonable $$$) are not as large as we have had at past confluences so I need to figure out what to do about that.

For the first time in about 3 years, it doesn't look like that I'll be on travel around that timeframe. I would gladly hitch a ride with anyone from the DC/VA/MD area who is attending, if possible. Of course I would gladly contribute money for gas and/or other expenses along the way. I would drive myself, but I fear that my truck won't be able to make the trip! If anyone is willing to have me tag along with them and include another bass or two, please contact me off-forum and we'll talk some more then. I'm really looking forward meeting everybody since I missed the last two MARF's due to travel. Thanks!

Jeff, for us needing to plan the time off from work, what is the idea for Friday the 20th? Is what you are thinking to have the main days be Friday and Saturday then? Or just a big day Saturday and Sunday wrap-up and Dim Sum? Would us driving in need to arrive Thursday evening?

Inquiring minds want to know.....

Saturday and Sunday (dim sum) are the main days, I figured Friday for those coming in who want to perhaps get together for dinner and hang, and just to relax instead of getting in real early Saturday morning. Official hours for the confluence will most likely be 10-6 Saturday with time before and after to set up and tear down.

Everyone please remember to bring guitar stands!

I'd love to trek back out to Ohio and see youse guys.....but , my youngest son is getting married that weekend(same anniversary as me!).....so....I guess I'll have to hang on till M.A.R.F. III(whenever that is).....
