Yes, Devo were in the Neil Young movie 'Human Highway'. The NY bio 'Shakey' reports that they caused quite a bit of chaos on the set ...

My basses are Rickenbackers. My synthesizers and recording gear are analog.

Well, I found a bass that is NOT competition for RIC........or anybody else at the asking price.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&Item=2372344632&category=4713

Considering that I can get an NS4CRFM with hard case in excellent condition for $875 Buy It Now, I think I'll pass for now.

However, the "free" strap was a nice gesture.......NOT! The bass is the low end Performer 4 model made in China you can buy for $350 new, not even the Professional model with active electronics that's made in Korea and goes for $500 street price. Even a new USA bolt-on could be had for under $2000 street price, and a new USA neck-thru could easily be had for $3000 street price. This bass could be had for half what this dude wants even if you bought it part by part from Ed Roman.

Strangely enough, I just saw the DVD of Reefer Madness on sale at a local grocery store (Kroger) for $5.99!

That's right, Philip.
I think this dude is asking a little too much.
Can you say "Rip-Off?"

Let's get back to the Devo tribute band! What era of De-evolution do you prefer? My fave was the "Duty Now for the Future" era...

I like the concept of Devo ... man is not evolving ... he is de-evolving ...

Maybe Devo will buy that $3000 Chinese bass.

I'd say de-evolution is no longer a concept, but a reality! But hey, I live in L.A.

"Are we not men?" was Devo at its finest.
