Re: Dear John Hall
It was just a picture that said "This Thread Sucks" or something like that, posted by a Mr. Howes. Not sure how it wound up being all this.Wildberry wrote:Oh mannn... I missed something? What did the picture show anyway? Who posted it?
Re: Dear John Hall
It was a JPEG posted by Kenny. There is a thread on the board where the mechanics of how hackers might attach a virus were briefly mentioned Werner. It has been dealt with in any event.

Re: Dear John Hall
I know how it works, Brian - I use FF 10 and my Win 7 has been patched against the JPEG attacks, no worries!
This thread started as some form of humour, but it's like a toilet stall now with unrelated useless comments

Some threads detour all over the place and in some instances we might step in and steer them back on course. This one got a life of its own unfortunately and the reason it was initiated in the first place is now just a distant memory.Wildberry wrote:I know how it works, Brian - I use FF 10 and my Win 7 has been patched against the JPEG attacks, no worries!

Re: Dear John Hall
can i just derail this derailed thread to say that i randomly picked up an old Orange Dod 210 Fet preamp pedal for the cheap hell of it, tried it and it's great!
looks like this:

Not even an off switch. Gives you tons of extra volume should you want it, but it's 8 (EIGHT) little components do something. A tiny bit of dirty, a bit of compression. Especially on my normally drab neck HB-1 i had great fun widdling away. i hooked it to a little passive loop pedal so i can turn it off an on.
Feel free to delete this/move it somewhere else. i didn't know where to post it

It would get the most exposure in a new thread under Forum 51. viewforum.php?f=44parker_knoll wrote: ... i didn't know where to post it

This is one thread for the books. I wouldn't believe it if I hadn't experienced it.
All I wanna do is rock!

Re: Dear John Hall
Interesting Thread! I'm glad to see JH atleast knows who I am!
I think the colour selections are fine, keep in mind RIC is a buisness, not a company to serve everyone.

Depending on just why, that might be less desirable than one might initially think...IvanMunoz wrote:I'm glad to see JH atleast knows who I am!
