Jerry, use a cheap Fender Malibu if you want to spill beer on something! Those are more replaceable than a Gibson or Ric acoustic. Which 1997 were you playing?

I considered getting a mapleglo 360/12 but decided that people would think that I was a McGuinn wannabe and wouldn't take me seriously. It's the playing style thing, too. As far as the suit & tie thing, I've always felt more comfortable on stage dressed up. It comes in part, I'm certain, from all the choral singing I did in high school & college.
