By the way, how did he do that trick with the color on those 360's? Can somebody do that kind of magic on my 381 in blueburst, just for fun?

That'd be so cool.
Maybe we'll have to wait until John sees this thread and perform some magic on your 381...Let me say it again: What a gorgeous babe!

I posted this a few days ago, I saw an old style 6 string 360 (I think) on MTV here in Lima a few nights ago, it was the same color as the 360/12 above, but looked older (both the finish and model). It was an REM video, with all Japanese teenagers playing in it. I'm not even sure if was REM but at the end of the video it said REM. Does anyone know anything about this?
I know on the Vox Talks thread there was conjecture that there were supposed to be about 12 Greenglo guitars made during the 60's, maybe this is another. It looks like George Harrison's 12 except that it was a 6 string.

I still do not like that "greenglo"... but I generally don't like green as a color, period.

Another Ric color that I really like is Autumnglo.... It seems to be really underrated, and you don't see too many in that finish. I wouldn't mind seeing that as a color of the year, right after Blueburst and Greenglo, of course! That rich golden-brown color is just so pleasing to the eye.

Autumnglo harkens back to yesteryear (1956 or so) and I quite agree Melissa it is under-rated. I am also very partial to Burgundyglo which also lets some beauty of the maple peek through adding a three-dimensional look (1963ish).

Peter, don't you have a picture of a really pretty bass in Autumnglo somewhere on the Registration page?

Scroll to the What's New thumb nail picture of the Ric bass and click on it then scroll down to the posting "A Taste of Honey 1977 Rickenbacker 4001 Autumnglo".
