Dear John. You got me hook, line and sinker. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the "official announcement".

I immediately called Aitch and I was planning to call Dave Pascoe (regardless of any time differences) and ask him to order me one immediately.

It wasn't until half way through my conversation with Howard that I read the fine print and realised that my chain had well and truly been yanked.

Well done! Image

Some of you almost figured it out, but that was fun....I thought it was a joke, but his Chris Squire comment in the artist section late yesterday threw me off.

I guess you got me John.

They used to play "The Young ones" every sunday night on mtv in the 80s. I have several episodes on vhs, but I have no vcr. You can hear Vivian screaming Ba**ard, and Ric saying "You just called me a Ba**ard didn't you Neil" on the song "Here come the Bastards" on sailing the seas of cheese. Very funny stuff. By the way Congratulations on yet another great Ric Bass Joey.

I guess that's just a payback for all the times we hounded John for a Reissue 4005. Image

Well look at the bright side - the April Fool's joke wasn't about a 4001v68.

I thought it was a joke, but his Chris Squire comment in the artist section late yesterday threw me off.

I just commented on that further in the artist section . . . all joking aside.

I also claim no credit for the 4005AF; that should all go to Geoff, our webmaster, and Kenny and Richard in customer service. They hatched that one up all by themselves, although I guess I did pay for their time to do do.

I have always said, Don't make the webmaster mad, Well, Geoff, Kenny and Richard pulled the wool over our eyes. I wonder how much this joke cost Mr. Hall. HA.HA.
