These look amazing! Although I will say, I prefer the old Made in the USA sticker

I have been away from this forum for awhile, so I am late to this party. This sure looks like a tempting model. Wow, it's so cool to see this is actually available. I own a 330-12 with hi-gains and a 360-12 with toasters. This 1993+ seems like it could be a different animal. Oh brother ...

I want to "chime" in and say I just got a 1993 Plus in FG from POTR and am thoroughly loving the experience. The wide neck is a pleasure to play. Reminds me of my old Tom Petty 660/12. The body is resonant and the weight and feel are just right. This latest addition to the RIC line-up is a real winner. Been playing it since it got here New Year's Eve. Yee-haw!!

Here's my MID that came at the end of November - probably a short run, as I've only seen two others advertised. And yes, it's magnificent.

Congrats Bob on a color few have seen. I have not had this much fun with a new model in a long time. I really enjoy the 330W/6 but this model is amazing.

I didn't had any tuning issues with the stock 6 saddle bridge so far. Though the second high E string is so close to the edge of the saddle that it looks like it is jumping down the next minute.
It doesn't seem to be just a drop in mod with the stock RIC 12 saddle bridge - designed for the standard narrow neck, you can't use the whole width range of the fretboard. Winfield Vintage offers a solution :

This solution is also fully reversible. Does anyone has any experience with this one ?
Edit : Welcome Gregg !

Isn't the RIC 12 saddle bridge stock on the 660/12 that has a 1 3/4" nut width? Or, am I misinterpreting your post?

I really don't know if the 12 saddle bridge was only made to fit the 660/12. Aren't they also on the 381/12 which has the narrow neck ?

That may be. IIRC, the 12 saddle bridge was introduced with the 660/12TP model so I figured it was optimized for the wider neck.

I tried to hold it onto to check spacing and it seemed that the string spacing was narrower than the cutting of the 6 saddles of the stock bridge which it came with

Interesting! I would have thought otherwise.

The RIC 12-saddle bridge was introduced as an integral part of the 370-12 Roger McGuinn signature series in 1988. The RM has the standard RIC nut width, not a wider neck like the 660 or 1993 Plus.
