Easy, Jaymi--you could start a flood here...
I've got preliminary layotus and am now sourcing some high-resolution artwork to fit the layouts. I've also spoken to John Hall and Peter McCormack via e-mail to get their impressions and permission.
They're gonna be special, so hang on. But...thanks for asking!

Er, layotus?
LAYOUTS, you know... slippery fingers today, methinks.

Paul, as requested, I'll send you a picture of my C63 for use on these items. I'm just a bit concerned about the copyright issue. If John H. approves, I'll send it your way. If he doesn't reply to this post, please contact him for approval. Thanks, Tom

Tom, the subject's already been discussed with JH. Thanks.
And it's great that we're all so careful about Rick's trade dress. It is a large part of the image of Rick and that's in itself a large part of the appeal of Rickenbackers to us.

Paul,
Thanks for the work. You will make several RIC geeks happy. I saw you post about the dangers of Van Ness and Washington after dark. I can give you a few more street in the city to avoid after dark.
Don't forget the jackets!!!
I remember about a year or so ago about a forum reissue bass. I believe the idea was a 4001V68. I see we are thinking more down to earth. Although I haven't given up hope on the bass.

How about using the 'Ric Painting' from another thread for the t-shirts & mugs?

Tom: it would make an interesting element, but I have no plans to use it as the only image. I'm looking forward to seeing the high-res pics of your guitar as soon as you have time to do the shots.

Hmmm, my old '63 375 FG would've made a great "cover girl"!

John I had a small picture of that guitar but it had a different hue of color to it.
Looked good a bit yellowed and it looks even better in those pictures! How could you sell such a thing?!
I think Tom is referring to the headstock from my guitar?
If so that would be quite an honor having every one of you guys walking around with that picture on the back! Unless he's talking about another picture...
For those who haven't seen it, copy/paste this link into your browser:

John, That guitar is fantastic.
My theme for the t-shirts was to include RIC historic elements and tie everything together with a shot of a "modern" Rick. Hence Tom's 360: a modern, historically correct reissue of a classic Rick, identifiable even to non-Rick people.
Actually, Patrick, the painting that Tom is referring to is the creation of Tony Carey and is shown in another thread called "Rick Painting". It's really well-done and captures a certain Rick 'vibe" very well. But I'd planned something a bit more wide-ranging. As I mentioned, I would like to use it as one element, replacing another in the design.

Oops I hadn't visited the General forum yet, my bad.
Just saw it, looks nice.
I can't wait to see some prototypes, you do plan on posting them before deciding on "the design", I do have faith in you that you'll come up with something very nice.

Paul - thanks for all your efforts in making this happen. Can't wait to be enjoying my morning coffee out of my soon to be favorite mug and to wear my new t-shirt in (I hope) soon to be spring sun. The cold and snow is getting old here in the north east!
Cheers Paul!
