Thanks guys!
The tranny red went over very well as did the fretless. I got many compliments on both of them Friday night, from the minute I took them out of their cases, till I packed them up for the night.
The FL is a burgundy, great memory Paul!
I never seem to be able to get a good pic of the Cii5 trans red that really shows off how beautiful it really is...something about the flash in those digital cameras just makes it look funny. When I take a pic of it outside, I get too many refections in it. Paul. and Jps, any photo tips would be appreciated. I can't wait to see it in Paul Boyers book, I'm sure his pic came out very nice.
...and speaking of Pauls, and pics, where is Paul Yan? I emailed him quite a while ago, never heard from him.

Taking pics outdoors can be tricky as you don't have total control of the light. I try to use artificial light (hot lights) and avoid flash if I can. Good lighting technique does require lots of practice and patience to get what you really want, very hard to teach in a forum setting.

OK, Joey, just for you and the fans, here's my photo of your trans red. I don't want to post a lot of my "portraits" as that might decrease the "value" of the book once it comes out. So everybody look at this photo and put you right hand over your heart and swear that you'll buy my book. ;^)

Paul that picture came out beautiful! I knew it would, thank you! I'm sure the pic will look much better in the the book where it's not compressed like you have to do to post on the forum.
Paul, I'll be the first in line for a copy or two of that book, but you have to sign it or them!
Was I like the parent of a missing child when we thought the trans red Cii5 was missing? I knew we brought it in, I was afraid that one of the curious outsiders grabbed it.
Thanks for the photo tips Jps.

Joey, how's the string spacing on the 5-tring? Is it 3/4" between strings?

Gerry, the ABM bridge on the Cii5 can be adjusted from approximately 1/2" to 11/16" (a little less than 3/4") between the strings.
