Nice work, Paul! So was this the 360/12 that was found after Katrina? The owner lives in the Big Easy?

Nope. But it will live in a French quarter of sorts. The French quarter of Canada that is.
And it is a 360/6 WB, originally JG.
Looks like I may have a worthy contribution for a calendar this year.
Really looking forward to the next pics...

No. That one is yet to be posted. Owner lived in the BE, but has moved to Galveston area since.

The polished edges really POP! Love the pearl and grey details with the BB color. Very nice!

Spectacular Blueboy finish with the three Toasters !
Love the white-pearl guards/TRC and the fret board has a great wood-grain pattern.
Congrats Paul, for another spectacular project !
Question, are those frets a little bit bigger, taller than average Ric frets ? They look so good with that fret board

Standard Rick frets. But you're seeing the highlights and shadows of the conversion varnish, which deliberately is allowed to build up at the fret bottoms.

Noted ---- the fret board and frets are awesome.
Was that a new fret board you created, or the "original" that was just brought back to life ?

Although I love my RoMo's in fireglo, I do like the nice change of solid colors...
Probably my favorite work of yours, Paul!

I have a legendary Rick bass in-house that I'm about to begin restoring, after it was water-damaged in a tent collapse and storm...pics sometime this week.
Had a minor shop accident this past weekend, not involving machines or substance abuse or even being in a hurry...I was sliding my hand along a piece of hardwood and embedded a 3/4" long sliver deep into my right thumb. After a trip to the ER and a couple of shots of lidocaine, it was removed and bandaged back up. Should be back in action tomorrow night...
Quite a bit of action here, and really too busy to be busting out the camera like before, but hope to get back onto the photo essay thing before long.
