I'm with Scott, Joey and Howie.
The peculiar Brit way of giving a nickname to every darned proper name has filtered somehow (wonder how) to Oz, too, huh?
I always laugh reading about guys named "Bazza" (Barry) and "Gazza" (Gary?). But "Ricky" takes the cakey. Please, no.
Sid Owen is laughing out loud.

Haven't been called or used 'Howie' much since my school days. Usually get 'Aitch' or 'Hey You, (expletive deleted)'!!
Yep, we put out some odd ones - Warren becomes 'Wuzza' or 'Wozza', Darren or Darrell becomes 'Dazza' and 'Graham' or 'Graeme' can sometimes be 'Gra' or 'Gra-gra'. 'Paul' stays as is, depending on your surname. If we can have a crack at that, we will.
By the way, how ya goin', Wilco?

Are you guys done speculating? Jeez, go to one offsite meeting and when I get back to my computer, everybody's talking about me behind my back...
Just kidding, OK?
Anyway, in order: Mike, I knew a rather unsavory character in a past life when I collected cool old foreign cars, called "Joe Alphabet". I dunno--John's into cars and he lives in Orange County, so he may have heard of Joe, who's still around, I understand.
So, Americans say "will ZIN ski". Polacks (like the Pope) say "vil CHEEN ski". Either one fails to work when ordering a pizza.

Hey - Robert started it!!
(Really, all of us were wondering but he's the only one who had the nerve to bring it up!)
I can't afford real pizza - I just put a slice of hydroponic tomato on a piece of moldy toast...

Hey Mike, before you bite into that toast, check the mold for saintly images. Might turn your financial situation completely around.

I once had a peice of toast that looked like Roger McGuinn. I didn't put it on ebay though. I was kind of hungry.

Mark - thanks for the tip - I forgot about the Pete potato. Can't wait to get my garden planted this year!
Robert - sell the next piece that resembles Roger - then you can buy a new RIC and eat out!
