Hope for the next generation...
I hated the Beatles. But one day when my dad was taping the anthology and the "Hello Goodbye" video came on. I was immedatly hooked. And this was when I was probably 11 or 12. I memorizes how the bass went on Sgt. Pepper before I had a bass! And I still can't play Lovly Rita. But after the Beatles came stuff like Kiss and Pink Floyd. I started learning Floyd first because Roger sucks at bass. Then came the Beatles stuff then came what I played today and had my family say I was better than people twice my age. Rush. I love them. But this is a Beatles thingy so I wanted to share my "How I learned to love the Beatles!" story.

I've liked the Beatles from the time of my earliest memories. It what was being played at our house growing up in the late 60's-early 70's (along with the Stones / Who / Zeppelin).
But, it was McCartney's bass that hooked me.
