Dennis: Many comparisons can be made at different stages when it comes to Beatles' Rickenbackers. There is no possible way RIC could issue every little change associated with Paul's bass. As in most things in life, this is a compromise and I am not sure that there is a single "true" comparison. My take on it is that it is accurate for the timeframe that RIC has chosen. I am glad that there is this bass, and I understand that Paul has one that he uses.

Thanks to Steve for his comments on oatmeal. They are appreciated and relevant here.
