I'm with Bob. The site is fine, but it needs a spring cleaning. With all the discontinued stuff on there and descriptive text dating back 5 years it gives it a feel of neglect. If Rick is confident in its product mix and marketing strategy, then clean out the old models and promote the new stuff. If you go to the limited edition models tab, they are all closed except the Lemmy, which may as well be closed. Let's clean it out and fill it up with some new limited models eh?

There's a lot of room for the new 4005! (and the non-horseshoe V68).

Those new Fireglos are nice. I like the way the red goes closer to the middle.

The site is fine with me. It could use updating in places but it has a lot of valuable information.

Re the original post in this thread, I think it's completely unrealistic to expect info on a long discontinued model.

Hopefully a redisgned site will be up soon. My biggest issue is still that the website doesn't really reflect the beauty and artistry of the guitars, and therefore the RIC brand.

Secondly the pictures on the site are pretty lame. Small and fake looking. Better pictures that are bigger is so needed.

Of course, it isn't like RIC needs a nicer website to sell things. They are obviously doing fine.

I just think it's odd that anytime I want to see a ric model, or show one to a friend, the LAST place I go is the official RIC site. You get better pictures here or at the music connection, of pick of the ricks, or Northcoast, or even EBAY...wherever.

Well, yeah, sometimes the ebay pics suck Bob, but sometimes you have to admit they are ok.

My point is that the pics on the ric site are really not good at all. They are small, and almost blurry. They certainly look over treated, or photoshopped or something.

The fender site is kind of annoying, but you get nice clear big pictures of the guitars. RIC should do the same.

Of course, the website may not really be a priority, and that may be fine too.

We are all looking forward to the completion of the "Ric Archive" portion of their website.
