My 350SH sounds killer through a Marshall TSL 100!

I play through a Frankenstein rig: a Peavey bassist preamp into a Peavey PA power amp (550 watts x 2 channels), & then into an 1810 cab (1x18 + 2x10). I liked the PA amp because it has a lot of power, and a guy I used to take lessons from used one in his teaching studio, & I found that the Ric was extremely clear through it; it sounds just like a piano through mine!

4003s/5 through a Gallien Krueger MB150e112 - big bass - small amp - happy back... (Amazing sound for the amp's size...)

4003s/5 (2000) and a 4001 (1979) through a Gallien-Krueger 400RB Hartke 1X15 & Hartke 4X10.
I also use a TC Electroncis Triple-C compressor. AWSOME sound.

4003/s5(s) 4001(s) through Ampeg B2 head, SVT cab, Marshall 50 watt master, 4-12 cab (Sunn, and a Peavy), somtimes a Eagleworks 4-10.

Greg: You neglected to add that you "move rooms" when you plug in your bass and decsend to low B.

I've been using a VOX AC-15 along with a Peavey Classic 30. Jut bought a Rickenbacker M-14-A amp. It hasn't arrived yet but am looking forward to it.

I have been using an old Carlsbro Hornet 45 (50 watts) w/one 10 inch speaker.
It serves me well

I use either a Mesa 400+, '72 SVT or '73 Sound City 200+ driving two eden 410XLT cabs. I've also got a 70's Ampeg 8x10 but the speakers are ancient low-watters so the cab distorts at an early volume. I love Ricks and tubes!

i am using a 1970 peavey series 300 bass amp, and a front-mount 18-inch speaker cabinet.it gives me the best of both worlds. using the bridge pickup alone on my 1977 mapleglo 4001, i get a wonderful low-mid sound, playing with my fingers. using both pickups, i get that wonderful, classic deep and at the same time trebly sound, using a pick. its the right amp for me,with this bass. cuts through everything.

I am currently using a VOX T25 with my 4003. I was looking for a decent sounding practice amp that wouldn't throw my back out every time I had to shift it (and also something that wouldn't vibrate the masonry from the walls...my neighbours deserve a break )! This baby VOX sounds fantastic!! Knock out the mid and the sound the bass pickup kicks out is positively sub-sonic. Ditch the pick and let your fingers do the work. You will be treated to a warmth of sound that you won't believe from an amp this cheap (and with only a single 10" speaker)!

I get a nice Rick sound with my little Peavey Minx 110. Also a single 10"

(borrowed) Peavey TKO 80 combo.
Quite grunty.

I am using a Fender BXR 200 head and a Peavey 2x10 w/Carvin Speakers.
