If it can be made better, than I can wait. I have plenty of other basses to use in the interim. But you'll offer it in Transparent Red, right?

In spite of said R&D, the 4004/5 we've been using at the studio sounds pretty tough.

I was thinking about selling my Rickenbacker 360/12CW to afford an engagement ring, but my girlfriend won't let me even talk about it. She doesn't really appreciate Rickenbacker's like I do, but she knows they mean a lot to me. More then her? Hum... both have thin slender necks and great curvy bodies...

Hey John, I'd really like to purchase a pair of those pickups but I was told by Kenny that they're not available. Surely you must have a couple extra now that production is halted.

"All I get when I show my wife my V63 is "That's nice honey" as she doesn't even look up from whatever she's doing.
How am I going to get her to buy into the idea of a V68 when they're out?"

If she never looks up you could buy anything you want and she would never know it!

...and and unfinished fingerboard. The trans red one has a thicker sound than the mapleglo. I'm glad that they are different.

Jeff,

Well, when then V68's come out I'll have to get one in Fireglo. I wonder if she'll notice that it's different from my MG V63?
I'm thinking she'll just "sense" it!Image
Kind of like the other day when I took my son steelhead fishing, and dropped our new digital camera in the water. I wasn't in the door 5 seconds and she new I did "something"! So much for trying to fix it without her knowing!Image

Joey,

Those 4004's look sweet!

What is the v68? Are you guys just joking about a wishful 4005v68, or are there other guitars in the works. I have heard of 360/12v66, and 360/12v67, but not of any guitar with a v68 designation.

It's a long-standing wish of some of us to have a 4001v68 produced. That's all I know.
