This might be a stupid question, but is a Shadow 4001 or 4003? 4003 seems right, based on what was said in this thread and in the article on basses in the Rick Registration Page. However, on this page if you scroll down they have what looks to be a Shadow, though listed as a 4001. Think they just got it wrong?

And actually, I was kind of suprised, I thought the prices were somewhat reasonable for Japan. Basically, you can drop two zeros and come up with the price in US$. So 150,000 yen is basically $1500, actually more like $1400...

Thanks for the info Andy! I've told myself that while I'm living in Japan I won't buy any American-made stuff - imported stuff is usually around twice the cost. But there's a couple of things on there that could cause me to change my ways...
