Aaahhhh...you poor lefties! Those TRCs look like weird bottle openers or something! Shame you're not normal, you could enjoy the world of righties (LOL) .

Being a lefty I know what you mean Graham. We could join the "world of righties" or perhaps the legacy of some musical lefties listed below.

Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, composer
David Byrne (Talking Heads)
Glen Campbell
Vicki Carr
Natale Cole
Kurt Cobain (Nirvana)
Phil Collins (Genesis)
Billy Corgan (Smashing Pumpkins)
Dick Dale (guitarist)
Don Everly (The Everly Brothers)
Phil Everly (The Everly Brothers)
Bela Fleck, jazz musician
Glenn Frey (the Eagles)
Eric Gale, guitarist
Errol Garner, jazz pianist
Judy Garland
Crysal Gayle
Kevin Griffin, guitarist & lead singer (Better than Ezra)
Thomas Hedley, vocalist/musician
Jimi Hendrix
Isaac Hayes
Tony Iommi, guitarist (Black Sabbath)
Albert King, guitarist
Melissa Manchester
Chuck Mangione, trumpet
Paul McCartney (the Beatles; Wings)
Christie Marie Melonson (opera)
George Michael (Wham!)
Peter Nero, conductor
Robert Plant (Led Zepplin)
Cole Porter, song-writer
Lou Rawls
John Lydon a.k.a. Johnny Rotten (Sex Pistols / Public Image Ltd.)
Rich Szabo, trumpeter
Paul Simon (Simon & Garfunkel)
Tiny Tim
Rudy Valee
Lenny White, drummer
Paul Williams, song-writer
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

That's made my day finding out that Peter Mc. is a lefty too! I bet that Graham is as sick as a pig after reading that list and now wishes that he was a lefty too! But then we can't all be "special", can we?

Peter: While I am a lefty, I play right handed, and I don't play my guitar upside down either.

Like Peter Mc, I'm left handed and play righty too. To me, there's nothing weirder looking than a lefty Strat, Jazzmaster, or Jaguar...

But lefty Ricks look perfectly normal to me. Except for the TRCs with the tortured lettering (bass, 6-string) or shapes (12-string).

Peter Levett's 381/12's TRC above has completely lost the RIC TRC's graphic identity, with all the shaping the factory had to do to clear the string slots...
“I say in speeches that a plausible mission of artists is to make people appreciate being alive at least a little bit. I am then asked if I know of any artists who pulled that off. I reply, 'The Beatles did.”
