Is that a REAL comma or a Sears comma?

Back when I was in college, I traded a local pawn shop out of a near mint, midnight blue (with black hardware) 330/12. Since it was my only guitar at the time, I decided it would be more versatile restrung as a six string. I put on some Fender Dynamax 11s and after I got used to the string spacing, I was actually pleased with the guitar. About a year later, I traded it for a 63 Fender Jaguar, which I really regret now.
I do agree with everyone else on this thread when they tell you that a regular Rick six string will play much better than a twelve restrung as a six. I restrung my twelve because it was the only guitar I had at the time (I was a broke college kid, remember) but if I had other options, I would have left it as a twelve.

I don't understand why it will play that much better. MAYBE you will have tuning pegs rattling without strings, or maybe the tail piece might rattle a bit more, but if the truss rods are adjusted I cannot see why it would PLAY any different than a six string.
