I'd say (speculate, really) that a 330 is probably sonically closer to a 350 than a 620 would be.

So it's June now, approaching six months from winter NAMM, and aside from the NAMM photos I've only seen one 4003 and one 660 in Blueburst.

Has anybody seen any other Bluebursts yet? I think it would help sell the color of the year if people could see a few examples...

Where are they??

I'm SUPPOSED to have mine this month (4003, ordered in January). Every day, I wonder if this will be the day I get it...when I do, I will share pics with everyone!!
In the meantime, here's a few more pictures...

WOW.... That 660 is absolutely beautiful. I love the flame maple with the cresting wave.... it looks like water..... And the checkered binding.... SWEET. I'm drooling! I can't wait to see more blueburst pictures!

That 660 is phenomenal.

Unfortunately I just committed all of my gear funds to something completely different from a guitar, otherwise I'd snarf one up.

One of Ron Plichta's friends bought that Blueburst 660 last Friday. As I mentioned before, it just looks amazing in person.

The 660 is still the best-looking of them all.... If they didn't have the wider neck it would probably be my first choice for a Blueburst.

Melissa: I suspect that the flash bouncing off the center of the 660 photo is responsible for its extra bright appearance and that the same effect could be had for the 4003 and the 360. This finish is very difficult to photograph.

Peter, I'm sure you are right about that.... But the flamed maple and checkered binding are just over the top in gorgeousness with that color! Those pictures are giving me a major GAS attack--Does anybody have both a 660 and a standard skinny-necked Ric? I wonder how hard it would be to get used to the wider neck.....

Mellissa, I've played 660s and own a 650. The neck on these are the same width as some Gibsons, PRS, and Fenders that I have played. I have owned both wide and thin neck Ricks (610 & 360V64) and prefer the wider necks. You may not be in that camp. Why not try some other brands with a similar width at your local store and see if you can live with them. Or if you happen by here you are welcome to try mine.

Thanks for the offer, Ken.... What part of Michigan is "here?" The nearest "local" music store (other than a guy who sells a limited selection of strings, picks, and other guitar and folk instrument accessories) is about 120 miles away from where I live--my part of northern Minnesota is a remote but beautiful area....

I'm so happy I ordered a 660 BBR. I took a shot before I had seen pics of one, and it looks like it will have paid off. Image

Southeast MI, just West of Pontiac. Sorry, if I were in the U.P. it would be worth the drive.
